Entry is eligible to anyone who has origins in Madhapar, spouse is from Madhapar, or are members of the Madhapar Sports and Fitness.
To Register: Complete the below form before 9pm Sat 22nd Feb 2025
No entries will be accepted on the day of the tournament. All finals will be played on the day.

Madhapar Badminton Tournament Rules and Conditions
It is important that you fill in your forms and return them as soon as possible. (Closing date for entries is 22nd Feb 2025).
Entry is eligible to anyone who has origins in Madhapar, spouse is from Madhapar, or are members of the Madhapar Sports and Fitness.
Categories are
Singles – Boys under 18, Girls under 18, Gents 18+, ladies 18+, 7–11 year olds (singles only)
Doubles – Boys under 18, Girls under 18, Gents 18+, Ladies 18+, Adults mixed & 50+ Ladies and Gents Doubles.
Individuals can participate in maximum of 3 Catagories.
All junior entrants must be under 18 on the day of the Tournament
7–11 year olds must be 7 and under 12 on the day of the Tournament
It’s essential that all players remain in the sports hall throughout the competition. Any competitor not present when their name is called will be eliminated and bye given to the opponent. Competitors can be called to play their game at any time. There will be a short break for lunch.
All participants and spectators must stay seated and quiet while games are being played.
Everyone must wear non-marking shoes/trainers on the sports hall.
Spectators must not make line judgements. Line calls and other calls will be left with the players on the court to decide, if in any disagreement then let call to be played.
Finals matches will be refereed by an umpire, and linesmen. If enough volunteers are available, then other matches will be umpired.
All finals will be played on the same day of the tournament
During the game if the shuttlecock hits the roof then it is foul.
Rally
A rally is lost if the shuttle is hit into the net, or over the net but outside of the opponent’s court. A rally is also lost if the shuttle touches the player’s clothing or body, or if it is hit before it crosses over the net.
Serving
The server must obey laws designed to force underhand delivery of the serve, and the receiver must stand still until the service is struck.
Earlier rounds will be on knockout basis, one game of 21 per match.
Semi-final and finals matches will be best of 3 games.
Players change ends at the end of a game and when the leading score reaches 11 in a game of 21 points. A 2-minute interval is allowed between games.
Organisers reserve the right to change these terms & conditions and right of admission.
